I just got a new '08 Highlander with factory dvd. I was wondering if there is some type of bypass or repeater that I can install or have installed so we can watch movies on the NAV screen while driving instead of just when we are parked?

No, and you won't get an answer for that here. It's illegal, that's why they do that, plus, it's unsafe! Think about it...
