Hi all,

I have a question concerning these GM LAN Radios. My uncle has a 2007 GMC Sierra pickup New Body Style with a standard GM LAN radio.

He wants to swap the radio for another GM LAN radio that has the 6 disc CD player. The one he is looking at is from an 07 Chevy pickup.

Is it a plug and play swap to install the GM LAN Radio with more features into the GMC which already has a standard GM LAN radio?

The radio sould plug in.  However you will need to have the code cleared and relearned useing GM scan tool.  Check that your dealer can do this first, not all have the right tool/
