trying to install a aftermarket (alpine) stereo in a 2000 ford focus se wagon. i cannot find a wire harness that will work what should i do? thanks

There are wiring harness's available for that car at every car audio store in the country and wall mart. Have you even looked?

i tried to get one but it was not the right one i could not get it figured out i tried 3 seperate ones this isnt my first install

it is the 1770, but it will look as if it does not fix. The yellow plug will plug into the speaker side of the harness (plug with all the speaker wires) and the other harness will plug into the power side. The power side plug will be short, but the pins will still line up. You will also need a vw antenna adapter (40vw10)

i will try it again tomorrow but i would have swore it was the wrong plug. thanks for the help. i did get the antenna adapter
