I have a Mazda 07 Cx-7 Crossover with Bose 9 speaker system. I purchased a Scoshe wiring harness and the double din radio install kit. However when I connected my alpine IVA-d310 it was working but no sound could be heard. Im plain english is there anyway to get this to work while still being able to enjoy all the speakers? Someone had mentioned to me that I can bypass the bost but then I will downgrade to 4 ch audio only. So that leaves a question  if I have to purchase amps etc. How would I have to wire them so that I can use the stock bose speakers and just be able to add Alpine type X subs at the rear?

Thank you all for all your help

On the harness that you purchased, is there a blue wire labeled power antenna?   If so did you connect it to the blue/white wire of the alpine deck?

I know that on some Bose systems(if not all) in order to properly integrate you need an extra peice of equipment(ie a Peripheral attachment) so that you can still retain your Bose system. I know that on almost any other factory amped system you just need to power the amp but I beleive in bose you need the specific integration piece. As far as price goes I know my shop sells them for somewhere in the $150-200(CDN) Range.

I would pay the money but what the heck is this integration thing you are talking about. And to answer the other members questions about the power antenna it was wired. Alot of us have this issue with this vehicle others have just rewired the speakers  but I don't feel like taking apart the door trim etc. to run new lines.

Im just desperate because I really hate using the ipod in the car to listen to mp3 songs. Not to mention I dont have XM on this bose system it comes with freaking sirius which blows.

I love my alpine radio I can watch music vids on it, listen to mp3's xm all in one package.

You need to use an interface device to add an aftermarket HU to a BOSE system and retain the BOSE amplifiers.  PIE makes several options that could help.

I'm not sure on the exact one but click here for a list of products by peripheral. I also know that you can pick up the peripheral peices at any Best Buy if needed.

You've done this already on a cx-7?
