You connected the Blue wire of your radio to the Blue wire of your Vehicle harness. You need to connect the Blue\White wire of your radio to the blue wire of the vehicle harness. The blue wire is the power antenna wire, it has 12 volts on it only when listening to the radio. The Blue\White is the amplifier turn on wire, it provides 12 volts to turn on the factory amp anytime the head unit is powered up. Your factory amp is turning off when you listen to CDs.
