Hey guys,

I have a 2006 Trailblazer SS, I'm doing the install in. The HU is a Clarion MAX675VDII, my question is for the parking brake wire. I beliebe it needs to see a ground, then no ground, the constant ground for the video to work. My question to you is, can I accomplish with with a relay such as the 528T? I know I could technically but a toggle switch inline, then a momentary push switch after on the ground side, but I would lke to achieve for of an "automatic" action. Please help if you can, and thank you for any advice upfront! I would like to do the install today if possible..

Thanks!!

Probably not, worth a shot imho...

Then again so is audio above a certain dB level in certain areas, and we help installs with sound all the time...Just hoping I can get a simple answer...

mobile1 is right. It's illegal, and you won't get any advice here. You might even have gotten yourself a three-day ban just for asking!

It's in the forum rules, and you said you agreed to them when you signed up!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

it can be done, but not recomended. there were a few reports of people gettin into accidents because they focus on the screen more than the road. Unlike the Avic N1, where it could have easily been bypassed, they created the N2 which requires a certain process to allow it to work. In most places it is illegal and u might get fined. enjoy ur 3 day vacation if 12volts decides to give u one.
