I have a 2004 suburban with the bose system ( not the 6cd changer type) with the factory radio/ cd combo in the dash.  I dont have the dvd or xm radio package that was available on these models. I have purchased a sirius radio and am a little confused at to which auxiliary input system i need. I would like to use the sirius radio as an input but it would be nice to be able to use my mp3 in the truck as well. ( I can also pitch that nasty old fm transmitter I  bought for that years ago)

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it..

Thanks

MG

I like this company and their products very much.

ok I have just seen that sirius make an FM Modulator FMDA25...looks like this would work for me? anyone used one of these? are they as good as an auxiliary input module.....either way looks like i have to take the dash apart....so just want to decide if this is as good/ better than one of these....thanks

Sounds like user/installer error.

i would just do the wired fm modulator i use them everyday at work and never have a problem with them just make sure you get the antenna adapters and it is a piece of cake to install in one of those trucks
