Hi, so i got some subs off a buddy for some work i did for him, and one of them has a hole in it, I'm wondering two things, 1. is it fixable, and 2. if it's not fixable does any one have one for sale or know were i can get one preferably new. It is a older Rockford sub it's a Punch XLC 8" here is a pic of the damage:

I'm also wondering what is the Wattage ratting on this sub?

I personally wouldn't invest any time or money into that sub. It's done unfortunately.

If you were to browse Rockford's site, I am sure they have this info archived, or you could send their techs an email or a phone call for specs.

what you could do is plug it into a wall socket and have some fun

well

1. it is not fix able - you can make it look aesthetically nice - but any power will continue to rip the surround.

2. The RFP 8" XLC is an old school sub I have 2 XLC 12 that I am still using - good sub
- to get spec look on the Rockford website
- If you are looking for a replacement XLC you can try ebay or just invest in a new Rockford P1 or P2

Ya, all i can find on ebay is the 10" and 12", the only reason im looking to fix/replace that sub is because i got a box for four 8's and i got 3 working Rockford XLC's. And i Do love my P2's that i have in my car

if you really want to fix it, (not worth the money) you can get the part needed from partsexpress. com
