Hi, like it says I'm new here but have been coming to the site for a while now. Just wanted to show off my whip Stereo HU-JVC 7" Touchscreen DVD/CD Fronts- Hertz Energy 5.25 w/3/4 twts Rears- Hertz Energy 6.5 w/3/4 twts Subs- 2 x 12" Digital Designs 2512's Amps- Front end- Xtant 604x (1999) Sub amp-Rockford Fosgate Power 1100a2 (1999) I have also upgraded the Batt to an Ultima, have a 1.5 F Stinger Capp and 2 of the big 3 done (still have to do the Alt to Batt wire, but since the batt. is in the trunk its proving to be difficult). The wires are all 0 guage street wires and the RCA's are monster and Stinger. The bith sheet on the Fosgate said 1490 watts @ 2ohm stereo (thats how its running) and the Xtant is 150x4 @2ohms

Well thank you. The hertz sound great Theysound even better now that I have made some changes. I did not do the all the worl, I did do all the front end and all the wiring but my fiberglass skills (don't have any) and my lack of a place to do the work and tools to work with, made it an easy choise to have it done somewhere else. The guy who did the work is named Mike and he works at Sounds Good Auto in Coquitlam B.C. Here are the changes i have made Got rid of both amps, the Fosgate is a great amp, I put in my other car but it runs HOT and draws alot of power, the Xtant is just not the amp I thought it would be, it didn't have the power to run those Hertz So in return I added a Digital Designs S4 (2x100+2x200@4ohms) to run the front end and wow what difference that made, those hertz scream now while before they were struggling to over power the bass I also added a Digital Designs M2 (1x1700@1ohm) and it made a differnce as well, I had the RF gain at about 85% but the DD is just above half and way louded and crisper I also changed the rims on the car to 18 inch TSW Crofts Pics

ah man, this makes me happy. im tired of seeing people do so many crappy things to cobalts. i have an 07 cobalt as well, but i think you may have the SS correct? as far as my mods go, i have a KN drop in air filter, Pioneer HU, two 10 JBL P1024 in a basslammer box, and blue Streetglow underbody. keep up the good work man and PM if you got any advice
