Hey guys long time lurker... and this site has saved my butt so many times.
So heres my build for the system in my 1/2 ton winter ride.
Heres the truck itself:
The ss badge on the front was from my 68 camaro i sold, kinda a keepsake
So i decided to go a different route then the typical behind the seat.
So thats the readers digest version of of the box build... I was planning to put more time into a few more layers of sanding and paint, but...
My new sub came in and i got impatient
So... it sounds great. almost as good as my 12" in my summer ride (89 2wd slammed blazer) that will get its own build tread soon enough.
Started the amp rack gotta make the cover and get fiberglassing

thats a pretty good idea putting your sub there. How does it sound vs. behind the seat?

I have those subs and they slam pretty hard regardless of what others say. I was hitting on a TL 139.9 and 140 dB with 2 of them in a ported box in my tC. I just hope you have tinted windows and an alarm system in the truck because there's a lot of dirtbags out there that are always creepin'.

Hey pappa, nice & simple.I like it.My friend wants me to build something like this in his '87 GMC.I got some ideas...Whats your opinion on the Lanzar? Is it U S made? Also, no pics of the door panels?I've a 2500 x-tra cab, didn't want to give up to much passenger space so I made a box for the hump between front & rear seats, used a 8" Power Acoustic.Fine product.used some 6.5 Pyles U S made,in the doors with stock tweets & home made inductors.Sounds great hope yours dose to.
