I am working on a 79 Honda CB750K basket case project that I inherited from another.  As I received it parts, lights etc. missing.  Thus far I have chopped the frame and brought it back to a "near completed" bike.

I have reached the stage that wiring and lighting are my stumbling blocks.  I am using the factory harness.and have run into 2 problems that I seem unable to resolve.  One is going from a 3 wire running light set up to seperate turn signals (meaning seperate from the LED stop/brake/running light).  Change over is to LEDs for all 4 turn signals and second is that every tme I turn the key on I blow a main 30 amp fuse.  I do have open wires all over the place where the last owner cut and removed lights (never to be seen again) but none are grounding.

I do have a wiring diagram but even with it's help I can't figure the turn signal wiring nor how to make them function.  I have replaced the flasher with an electronic flasher but no progress so far.

I have mastered the connection to the rear stop/turn/running light so that's resolved.

Offered help would be greatly appreciated.

Ken

in cases like yours, i just rip out the entire harness and make a brand new one from scratch the way i want it, but, since i cant do that....can you post the wiring diagram, or e-mail it? that would help anyone here that might want to help you.

I ran across one a few days ago, now just need to find it again.

Resolved the ground problem.  I'd pinched a wirewhen I installed a new (used) R side control so it's back to the lighting issue

OK gang forget it.  I guess just dumb persaverience paid off.  Parts eventually fell into place, including the 3 to 2 wiring situation.  Bike is now totally wired and working as it should.  Thanks for the help.
