i have an led amber yellow turn/red run/red brake all in one combo.  Works great except that when the amber turn blinks the reds do not disengage.

i would like to find a relay that operates from the amber power to disengage the power to both reds (individually) while the amber is lit (blinking).

Would like miniature relay if possible due to lack of space.

Any suggetions?

Find a Double Pole Double Throw relay with a coil rated at 12 volts, and a suitable size.   Post a link to the datasheet or take a picture of the relay, post it here and I will use that info to draw you a diagram to do that.  You will need one relay per each side of the vehicle.   You will also have to access the wire at the front of the flasher unit.

Any idea where i can find a DPDT?  All i seem to be finding are SPDT relays.

If you can use 2 SPDT relays per side if you like.  I have no idea how small you need them to be.  Radio Shack does sell a DPDT relay.
