There is another thread similar to this one, but the bikes involved are slightly different...so I thought it might be a little easier to just create a new thread.

I recently won this alarm system from a contest in a forum. The wiring diagram that came with it is very hard to understand (in my opinion). I've attached a picture of the wiring diagram that came with the alarm system and a wiring diagram from my motorcycle's service manual. If someone would be able to maybe decipher the two and make something a little more understandable about it, I'll owe you my first born! LOL

Here's my bike's wiring diagram

And here's the diagram from the alarm system.

Also, the clutch has to be pulled in for the bike to start... That would need to be bypassed in some way for the remote start to work, but if the clutch release switch is just jumped together that reduces the rev limit on the bike to 2500 less than red-line... so there would need to be a way to bypass the clutch release switch without disabling the that switch. Here's another diagram that shows the starter interlock system in a little more detail

Use the neutral indicator light instead, so it only starts in neutral only. Connect the neutral safety wire to it. Probably going to have to use a relay for that. blue/lt blue.

Use a brake shutoff, which looks to be WHITE/ black.

The rest for the security is posted somewhere, but I have to get going to work. I will try to get the rest when I get back if someone has not posted it later.

Well I got it partially wired up. I've got the alarm portion working fine.

I wired up the remote start but haven't gotten around to bypassing the clutch yet. Just wanted to see if it would work. If I pull in the clutch, the starter spins, but it throws a FI code and I notice the fuel pump isn't priming, and it doesn't start. So I would assume that's where the FI code is coming from.

This is how I've got it wired up

Alarm        Bike
Red           Red - Ignition
Brown        Orange - Ignition
Blue          YELLOW /GREEN - Start switch
Black        Chassis
Pink          BLACK/ White - Sidestand Switch |_ B/W cut between these
Gray          BLACK/ White - Sidestand Switch |
Yellow        Black - Headlight harness
Yellow        Light Green - Headlight harness

Everything works gravy cept the remote start

did you ever find out what the prob was i'm having the same prob with my 2006 hayabusa everything is hooked up just like yours and when i try to remote start my FL light is on and my pump won't turn on ither ???? .......................Now about the clutch prob just t-tap the positive (+) starter wire on the alarm and use a relay to switch from positive (+) to negitive (-) then use the neg output from the relay to trigger your clutch wire this way your clutch and starter wire are triggered at the same time i'm 100% sure it will work

I haven't had the time to troubleshoot any further yet. But from looking over the wiring diagram a little more, I'm pretty sure there is going to need to be a relay going from the ignition signal wire from the Spy unit to trigger another 12v line on the bikes ignition harness.

well i'm lost i own and operate a mobile electronics shop and i install remote start alarms on cars and trucks everyday but this motorcycle has me stumped i've tried everything i could think of unless this bike has a factory immobilizer i cant get around the issue there is a orange / YELLOW wire on my ignition harness that shows a direct neg(-) when the ignition is off and when it is switched on the wire still has a neg(-) signal but its only millivolts when i try to remote start my bike the orange / YELLOW  wire shows a pos(+) millivolt signal and i have no idea why  posted_image also there is a tan or light brown wire on the ignition harness that shows a pos(+) signal when the ignition is switched on but this wire is dead when i try to remote start my bike so i powered it up and tried to remote start my bike again my fuel pump was still dead................................THIS SUCKS !

Just realized you're in Oklahoma... where bouts are ya? I can pick one of these bikes' wiring diagrams apart pretty well, but I know nothing about installing alarms/remote starts. With you knowing that and me knowing the wiring diagrams I bet we could figure this son of a b**** out
