have an 05 gsxr 600.

i just added some leds to my passenger pegs on my gsxr. as of now each side is wired to the turn signals. but i would like to change it so they also work as brake lights.

how i would like it to work is so that i turn the turn signal on, that peg flashes. then i apply the brake and the other side will come on steady. turn off turn signal and both sides are steady, when brake is applied. put on hazards and apply the brake they are both steady, hazards and no brake they both flash..

suggestions?

It's a similar circuit to cars that have a common indicator and reverse bulb (downunder in Aus) or indicator & stop bulb (Stateside).

What is the current of the LEDs? It may be easier using a logic circuit than using relays. (Indicator/reverse/stop bulbs at typically take 100x the current of a LED string - ie, 2A vs 20-40mA.)

If you're still watching this thread, here's how I figured out how to do something similar on a BMW:

Yep - similar to indicator/reverse using the same bulb.

I like the red LED with amber/orange lens - it shows how "red" orange is. (It beats the PC I saw with a green bulb with a red filter - they reckoned the lamp "never came on"!)
