I changed all the turn signals to led 1157 bulbs and making the turn signal lights act as running lights. The front works fine as they were wired like that already. But the back if i connect the wire coming from the rear tail light assy for the running lights the directional will stop working and the directional indicator will be lit dim. if i connect just the running light it works or if i connect just the directional it works just not together.

Any ideas on how to fix this ?? thanks Joe

Connect the taillight to the dimmer of the 2 elements.  Connect the blinker wire to the brighter of the 2 elements.

Ha ha ha I know that.   I think I figured it out. I'm waiting for a new flasher relay to correct the fast flash. If I put a diode in the turn signal wire it stops the feedback from the parking light but without the new relay it stops flashing I'm assuming because on the lack of load on the factory flasher relay

Allset with the new flasher relay installed it flashes correctly and with a diode inline with the turn signal wire no back feeding from the parking lights

I used a ELFR-1 from customled.com. 2 min install
