Hello all. This is my first post in this forum and my first project of this kind so please bear with me.

I am looking to do a HID projector retrofit on my 2013 Suzuki SFV 650. I know how to wire the wiring harness as the kit includes detailed instructions. I do however want to modify the wiring a bit so the HID does not turn on automatically. I'd like to add a handlebar switch to turn the light off during daytime riding and start-up.

During my research into how to do this, I learned about the use of relays and a basic understanding of how they work. It made me decide to try and use a relay to turn the halo on and off opposite of the headlight.

I think I know how to do the wiring but I would like to double check with people who know more then I do. Included are pictures of the wiring harness that comes with the kit and some simple diagrams of my own design. If one or more of you could please look it over and let me know if I'm on the right track and/or if any changes need to be made to prevent the destruction of my electrical system I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance,

-FLyBoy
