I'm looking to install 2 Denali Electronics D7 LED Aux lights w/ data dim, pretty simple, also looking to install 2 Denali Electronics D4 Amber w/ Data Dim, again pretty simple. Now the issue. I need to be able to shut off my headlight and running lights (all white lights) when I start driving through milk(fog). Then I can run the D4 Amber's only. The Body Control Module (BCM) I'm told cant be configured for that. Can I create a shunt to trick the BCM?
Or maybe wire in an isolation switch to DC power to headlights only if it wont trip the BCM to DC power to lights then I'm without. Any help would be greatly appreciated
