Hey guys, I'm looking for a physically small 2 ch amp in the 50 to 75 watt range. it needs to be less than 11 inches long 1.5 high and 6 wide and prefferibly have the connections on the long side. i'm gonna use it in a motorcycle application so space is at a premium, more so than power or super sound quality. I also don't want to use junk. Any help wpuld be apprecitaed, thanks. P.s. in case any of you might be going, hummm I think I know this guy, I used to be Avital Securty's tech support.

If you are looking to power speakers not a sub which I am assuming. I would just go ahead and get a decent powered head unit, some of the new panisonics have really amazed me on the output clairty of the stand alone internal amp...I have always been one to use an aftermarket amp but Recently I ooked one up in the car, and it sounded great on the internals but had some trouble keeping up with the pounding from the rear...I would think even on a bike you wouldnt have a 144.7db noise varition, But I know it gets windy! I am alos a frequent bike rider let me know what you are looking to do and maybe I can help you a little further

Its going on a 05 electraglide. I want to fit it in the faring with the radio. im not going to change out the head unit, it maches, has integrated controls, auto volume, cd, mp3, blah blah blah. but after abvout 80 mph the volume dosent cut it. the footpronnt on the new pioneer gm3000 is good but the damn heat sinks are too high. if you guys have anything let me know.

Alpine makes a small amp (50x2 the MRP-T220) and MTX makes a few also. But yeah I'd go w/ what everyone's already said and get a really nice hu that kicks out some power. If you've got 6x9 or something then yeah go w/ an amp but you'll be pushing 75-100 watts per channel then.

https://www.xtant.com/html/products/xtant1.1i.cfm Are very tiny AND full range class D (more efficient). Too bad you can't fit 2 though, b/c they're mono. ------------- New Project: 2003 Pathfinder

Also, have you tried putting bass blockers on your current speakers? Getting the bass off them should significantly increase how loud you can push them without the speaker distorting. If you're clipping the head unit though, you definitely need a more power amp.

alpine does make some very nice amps and they're very small too. I would look for them.

thanks for the input. distortion is not a problem i can run this thing full tilt and not have the speakers break up, the radio has a bass attenuator, like the old GM s used to, and i have changed out the speakers for eclipse. any input on ALTO amps. they have one that might work but no retalers in Chicago, can you belive it, ay procing i like the adp 152

The Panasonic decks with the TriPath amplifier modules WILL do a real 4X70 into 4 ohms, and no aditional amplifier is necessary. Check into them...

The only reason I would reccomend that amp to him is so that he throw it off his bike while he's going down the highway . This little Kicker amp should fit and do the job alot better then your factory cd player: https://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC03KX752-------------
