I just installed an prestige aps-996a two way remote start alarm on my motorcycle GSXR-600 2004. It took two days, but I got it going. It works great. Plus it wont start if bike is in gear. Just wanted to let everyone know it can be done. It takes time working with converting 12v to 9v, and alot of relays but it's worth it. Got my other GSXR-600 04 stolen two months ago, never seen again.

Kudos to you for putting forth the time and effort to see that it could be done.  Just too bad you didn't do it two months ago.  Sorry for the loss, they are a sweet scooter.
------------- If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!

I have seen the tech info on directechs for almost every two wheeled creation, I just have not been fortunate enough to do one myself. Much respect. One question where did you stuff all the relays and alarm module?

We were going to a BMW motorcycle for a customer once but he backed out. Ended up spending the money on LED's instead. I still think the remote start would have been cooler.

Under the drivers seat. Once it was all taped up it fit in pretty good. misterjimbo wrote:

On those cold mornings going late to work. Just the start the bike with the remote start, then by the time I come out the bike is all warmed up, so I could hit the gas without straining the engine when it's cold. Plus to show off on bike nights. ------------- Live life to the fullest.

I used a wire from the coil. I just kept search wires since I couldn't find no wiring diagrams. ------------- Live life to the fullest.
