I have an old ('76) Honda motorcycle that I'm rewiring.  Have a 2 light marker light that I intend to use for tail light and signal light.  It has 3 wires without any instructions.  I'm an accountant not an auto/cycle tech nor electrican so have no idea what goes where.  One red wire, one black wire, and one black w/ white line wire.  What goes where?

It is possible that this uses a dual filament bulb in it. If the bulb is incandescent then one wire is ground (most likely black). The red will go to positive, and the BLACK/ white will go to positive and brighten the light even more. In other words this could be a brake/signal light.

If the bulb is removable, what bulb is it?
