I got a remote start alarm for my VFR 750, its a generic chinese one from ebay so the instructions are written horribly, in Chinglish ! I got 8 wires to connect.
1) Positice supply from battery
2) Anode power out of the switch
3) Engine start wire
4) Engine off wire
5) Flame out wire end of main switch
6) Ground
7) Direction light
8) Direction light
I swear it's what it says on the instructions word for word.
2) and 5) are the problem. 2) could be Ignition Live, and 5) Starter Circuit, but I'm not sure. All the wires go to a connection block that fits into the connector of the brain.

I like Chinglish better.....  . One question for ya jude007, why did you buy such (as it would seem) a lame unit? Are their none others? Perhaps a tad bit better in quality. I hate to be a judge of quality based on the way the instructions were written.......BUT WoW! No one else makes one huh? Also...sorry for not having any input for your original post. -------------

I would package that back up and put it back on ebay, no offence but I've never had any luck with things like that and I've done a ton of them. If its not bad out of the box they over crank, under crank, or don't crank. And guessing what they mean by flame out and anode this and that spells trouble in my book. Sell it off to someone else if you can't return it or get a guide written in something other than jibborish. I just installed a Spy system in a 2001 R6, it came with remote start, a microwave sensor, 2-Way, and shock sensor. the customer said he purchased it online from a retail site for just inside $100. I didn't see any programing for tach or voltage or anything else that would tell the system the bike was running so between that and his neutral light being defective we skipped the remote start part and just did the alarm. But the system functioned great as an alarm. Another system I've installed is the DEI Merlin alarm for ATV and motorcycles it doesn't have remote start but it was a great alarm with a battery backup siren, mercury switch and an onboard shock sensor. (i think its been a while) I've seen systems from scorpion but never installed one. So there are quality systems out there and the books are a bit more detailed too. I'm working on talking my buddy into a 791xv on his 2004 GSXR 1000 we plan on adding an actuator for the rear seat release and I want the remote start to function so I'll let ya know how that one goes.

"5) Flame out wire at end of switch" , in red, I think. It comes from the starter relay switch goes to the ignition switch, but branches off first to the clock (off the page), so It must be constantly live. The full PDF is here. In normal operation when the ignition switch is in the on position, then the ignition live must draw current from it. But what goes on back at the starter relay I dont know. But what ever it is must allow it to start when the Engine Start button is hit.

Autopage makes a nice one with a pager but if youre a daily rider, i personally would just use a regular auto alarm with one mile range.

1: Constant power ( fuse this connection )
2: This could be switched power
3: If this is a remote starter & security, you may have to cut the starter wire in half and wire the starter side of the starter wire to this wire.
4: This wire would be the switch side of the starter wire
5: This could be the ACC wire. You can test this wire with the GROUND and the constant wire hooked up and try to remote start and see what this wire does before hooking it up.
6: GROUND
7 & 8 : Parking lgihts

Thanks Jeff . I did a test fittting of this and I got it to remote start , after a couple of goes on the trigger. I didn't rig up the engine kill though cause I thought it would be the emergency engine kill switch, but hey ho, what do I know. As someone said it would be better with a feedback to tell if it RS has worked as you cant really hear the engine from over 50 feet away. And it does work from that distance. It's good for the price , but now I know what a better system would include. Although choke is an issue aswell. OMG it goes on.
