Just wanted to post this results thread after installing this system with a Viper 160XVL. Couldn't have done it without the12volt forums! What worked for me without having to create the double relay circuit was:
1. Brown wire from XK532 to 160XVL 3rd ignition (pink). Apparently the 3rd ignition on this viper remote start DOES turn on at the same time as ignition 1 so you do not need a relay.
2. Violet/White from XK532 to MUX (2nd start- Violet/brown) at ignition harness. Also connected 160XVL Orange accessory/blower wire to this.
3. Pink wire from XK532 to 160XVL Gray/Black wait to start wire. No resistor, so the jeep must have a conventional starter.
4. Violet from XK532 to to data (WHITE/ orange) at key cylinder (was twisted with another wire)

Did not use any lock features as all they wanted was remote start function. I programmed the XK532 using option2- (removing the board from one of the keys).
The only odd thing I had to do that I am still not sure made a difference was that I had to program the 160XVL 2nd ignition wire (pink/white) to be an accessory wire in the features menu as there is only one ignition wire on the cherokee.
Everything working great without the need for any resistors, diodes or relays.(So far!) Much thanks to the12volt forums-all of us out there in the trenches!
