i installed the Alarm System in my 95 Nissan Maxima and put door locks wire without any relay and door locks when alarm arms, but when alarm disarms its not unlocks the door, i didn't add any relay with door locks, just conect door lock/unlock wire with car's door lock/unlock wire at the switch, i saw in the manual door un locks needs double pulse to unlock the door, what i have to do?? How i can provide the douple pulse to unlock wire when alarm disarms, or i need to put relay, i do have relay that comes with the alarm system but i didnt use in installation, my alarm system works fine, can some budy tell be how i can fix this issue, ????

Good alarms can be programmed for double-pulse unlock; read the programming guide for yours and see if it has it.

If you're not using the alarm's trunk-release output, you could tie that into the unlock wire too. After you disarm the alarm (which gives one pulse), you can quickly push and hold the trunk button, which gives the second pulse and unlocks the car.......it is incredibly stupid and inconvient, but it works.

Or you can buy a timer relay, one that will turn two pulses into one. Look around www.go2pac.com, they will probably have something that'll do it.

There is a way to make a single output unlock into 2+ output. There was a time when the VWs needed that to happen and no alarm company had dbl pulse unlock. I will get you a wiring diagram. It only requires a relay and a 4700 mf cap.

That diagram would have been useful when my shop did the 551r. I always hated it when the salesman would sell it for a car that needed a double pulse unlock.
