This is just a heads-up for anyone with a new 2W901R-SS 2-way remote.  The user manual doesn't tell you that you need to "turn on" the remote before it will charge or function properly.  So let's spread the word.

To turn on the remote after it's been removed from the retail packaging, you have to hold the Function button on the right-hand side for about 3-4 seconds. That's it. You'll know it's been turned on when the LED screen goes wacko for a few seconds while playing the first 6 measures of the folk song "Bingo" (Weeirrrd). THEN, plug it in to charge..
