I searched but did not see any other references to this so I apologize if it's been covered already.

The recall only affects specific installation types. Specifically key-in-a-box installations on certain PTS cars.

But the potential for a car to shut off while driving down the road is pretty significant IMO.

I had a customer come in with a certified mail letter for this yesterday. Looks like just a firmware update, but damn if DEI has issues like GM or Toyota recalls, I'm not sure they could withstand it.
I hope no one has been injured or worse by this.

FYI, at this time is does appear to only be the PTS type vehicles.

Keep us posted if anyone has more info.
