This is a tale of good and bad. Being out of the business for quite a few years now seems to be a bad thing. I'm installing a Viper 791 in my 98 civic ex 2dr. Plan on using the 529 for my sunroof (an install that I have never done before) and the 530 for both windows. I had never done a remote start but found it to be easy along with the remainder of the viper. I went straight  into the 529, could get it to close like a champ but the normal vent problem has my brain scrambled and put on hold till I can find someone that is familiar with this on a civic. I went ahead and got on the windows last night and it was not long till I was ready to wrap my hands around the Japanese jerks that designed the door plug since everything can be taken care of inside the cab minus the drivers door. I did however prevail with flying colors! Instead of just drilling the door and cab I was dead set on getting my wires through the stock location. My fix for this was to remove the plug and drill out 4 pin locations that were empty so that the wires would make it through the male and female sides of the plug. If anyone is familiar with the rubber sheathing route you will understand that just getting wires through this is a long shot. With the help of two pieces of bailing wire I was able to get the 530 wires (blue, green, brown and white) through the rubber maze and the freshly drilled plugs so now there are no breaks in the wire going directly to the drivers window motor and switch. For some of you I know this may be nothing but a walk in the park but I was quite happy with myself and wanted to share the joy. When I was installing there would be no way to spend that kind of time on a single car or module for that matter! What is nice is that the 791 and 530 work like a champ!

Thanks for the time to read my BS,
Dave

BTW, if anyone thinks they have the hookup for the 529, just say so and I will elaborate.
