I am rehabbing an old outboard motorboat and have put ring terminals with in-line glass fuses on all my circuits, (8) so far. These are: bilge pump, aerator, lights, cigarette lighter/accessory, trolling motor, batterycharger, fish locator and a marine radio. The battery area is congested with the gas tank and the battery in a plastic battery box with 8 sets of wire leads. I have three questions: 1. A friend gave me a terminal board that is set up for plastic car fuses and I wonder if I should get a a regular terminal strip w/ screws and use that rather than replace all the in-line fuses. 2. What is a good wire size for the main positive and negative main wire to the battery leads? 3. Am also wondering if there is a good place to put the strip and how to cover it.

re: terminal board for boat battery- to clarify, it is a 1983 Sea-Nymph 14.5' aluminum fishing boat.
