Im trying to install a car cd player in my procraft bass boat. What are some suggestions for keeping the vibrations from the waves down on it? And does anybody know of some good marine speakers that are fairly cheep ~100?

depends on the size of the boat and the size of the waves ...LOL

smaller boats are burtal on CD players.

try to use a radio that has USB. flash drives are light years a head of CDs on the water for boats under 25ft.

i know that the pioneers also play WAV files if you wish. its easier to "cush" a portable harddrive (or better,an SSD) also than using CDs.

polk MOMO speakers are nice for a boat due to their great volume to power req ratio.

Get a Deck with bluetooth and that was the phone can be in a dry spot. Or get a nice clarion marine head unit with an additional remote wired in.
