Hello, I'm trying to wire a LED lighted SPST rocker switch for a washdown pump. The switch is a 4 terminal switch, lighted when on. It came with zero instructions or diagrams on how to install it. I checked continuity with a ohm meter and here is what I got. Terminals 1&2 have continuity all the time on or off. When on there is continuity between all 4 terminals. I can use it as a simple on off switch but I can't connect a ground anywhere. ??? I don't see anywhere else it switch would ground. Below is the specs where I bought it. Also, there is no help from the seller.

Thanks!

OK, I finally solved the puzzle. This inexpensive switch will only light when used with AC power. I searched another supplier to find this out.

LED lighted DPST OFF/ON Boat Car Rocker Switch

16A / 250V AC

ATTENTION !!!

The Switch can be used for DC circuit.

But the led can not light when your used for DC.

The led only can light when you used for AC 110 -AC 240V

I ran into this same problem.
They were advertised as Automotive / Marine switches but I could not get the LEDs to work on DC current.
