I am trying to figure out a way to swap a 4 wire plug to another 4 wire plug and the same with another at the same time. Kind of a flip flop. See the diagram and let me know if the is possible. Thanks! posted_image

More details please. By "swap" do you mean "connect"?
Perhaps pictures of the connectors would help.

I'll try to get some pictures tonight. This is for the electric throttle on a jetski and the IBR. My wife likes them swapped because she broke her wrist but I prefer the standard setup. I can physically swap the plug connections but I'm trying to see if there is a way to swap the 2 connections with a switch of some sort. This would not be on the fly and be stored inside the hull so the engine would be off when switching. From the engine there is a 4 wire plug that goes to the throttle and one that goes to the IBR..if that helps explain my drawing.

So you basically need to swap 8 wires (or less if there are common grounds or 12V going to the 2 controls).

an 8 pole double throw switches could do the job. Does it need tp be water resistant?

Something like this (but possibly needing to be water resistant)
