Posting in the car audio for more exposure. I have a new pontoon with two speakers in the front, two in the rear seating facing forward, and two mounted in the rear of the boat that face outward over the water..for music while we are swimming. All Hertz equiptment. I want to upgrade, most likely JL audio. I want to be able to control the volume in each pair of speakers, front, rear, and remaining two over the water. I will also add one subwoofer to the system. I can do a clean install, make all the connections, but I need some input of which amp I might need. JL audio 800/8 channel is what I am thinking. Been studying sites like this and youtube to become better educated, but it soaks in slow. I want really good clean sound and the ability to crank it when I am on the open water away from the lake homes.
