i am getting a popping sound coming from my speakers when using any 120 v ac power switches(boat has shore power) as well as the 12 volt dc switches that are attached to the control panel. this sound only comes from the new speakers and subs that are installed to auxillary amplifiers. the speakers attached to the radio itself do not pop. the radio itself is wired as an accessory into the control panel. the sound is not continuos. it only occurs when the other switches are activated. what could be the problem? have tried isolating the rca's to the amps, as well as hard wiring the stereo and amps to an additional battery that is not hooked up to the boat. same problem...

I'm no expert by any means...but what about the ground?

Being that most boats are fiberglass the only place you can get a good ground is from the battery itself.  You either have bad grounds or a bad amp.
