i am in desperate need of a lay out or diagrahm of the best "design" or "setup" of a new system going into my boat.i am pretty handy with electronics and using tools, but i must say, i am leary on this one.i was thinking of putting the "bolt" amp with the sub and using the pioneer for the pioneer speakers and maybee just running the kicker speakers with out any amp, but a friend says that wouldnt give me the max im lookin for.im sure if i could get a wirring diagrahm , i could do an excellent job on the install.ive got pics ill post of the entire system if needed ,

im not sure what the best configuration would be for some pounding bass.....and im running out of time before labor day weekend. im begining to wonder if ill be on the water with a boom box instead of bumpin my new jams.can anyone help?head unit= jvc kd s580,optimus electronic subwoofer crossover (maybee this isnt needed, im unsure) subwoofer = rockford fosgate punch xlc 15", 2 6x9 pioneer ts-a6975 220w max-40 w norm 4 ohm, 2 6" round kicker k65 4ohm, amp1 = pioneer gmx314, amp 2 = lightning audio b150.2.

All I'll say is that marine enviroments are pretty harsh - I'm guessing that you have a boat with a pretty big cabin or something.

If any speakers are going outside, do get marine speakers.

I would do as you first said - Sub on one amp, Pioneer speakers on the other amp, and Kicker speakers on the deck.

Throw the 6 X 9 Pioneer coaxials out of the installation altogether.

-------------
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
