They make a unit, Perfect Pass that will do the job, kinda pricey tho,what would be involved in using a control unit ,1988 GM truck,to do the same thing. All I need it to do is hold a set RPM, mostly 18 to 20 mph.Any advice or ideas. Last question, would a cheap add on unit be my best bet,the motor is a Ford Inboard,1964 Correct Craft..........Boat dr

I thought the throttle on a boat stayed put as to where you set it, like a lawn mower and an airplane.
