i'll be quick is it possible to get p2wssr anywhere. i know it voids the warranty to install it myself but ,only i touch my cars i dont want to insult anyone but if something ever goes wrong with my car then i know my car inside and out. I have installed 4 of these before the last was a 2wss and all work fine the units are for myself and no one else if i have to i will get a viper 5900 but i like my compustar and would prefer to stay with them if possible thank you for your time ------------- I'll drink to that!

Ummm Pro is a secure line. I don't think you'll be able to get one man. But you can try... Let me know if you get one and where you got one from. ------------- "dont ground out!"

You can usually find a Pro 2W900FM on ebay. I have installed a couple of those....very nice units. I have yet to see a Pro 2WSS on there.

i have used the whole line of compustar besides the P2WSSR. that is the only unit that i want to get my hands on, but they dont offer thatn unit here in canada. that unit was designed for USA only. The P2W900FM-AS is an awsome unit, reliable and the features on it are amazing. if anything, try to visit compustars website, look for a dealer, and ask if they will ship the unit to you. just bs and say u are having a local installer do it or sumthing so that way, they might sell it to you.

like the first guy said, all the pro series are protected lines. I haven't seen any of them on ebay, but i haven't looked in a while.. They install just like the pro series 2w900 with a different antenna and remote.
they work good, in case you wanted to know.

Not to sound like I am trying to sell you mine but the Viper 5900 is a world apart from the Compustar. I currently have the 5900 I go through a new battery every other week, never been close to half a mile let alone a mile range. Also, all the features the p2w comes with makes it worth it. Even the p2w900 is better then the 5900. Temp sensor, remote paging, 2 remotes... Just something to keep in mind.

I'm on the market for one as well. I've been looking at a lot of different brands, but i keep comming back to the compustar... i just don't want to pay for the install on a premium line.
