Anyone install one of these yet. Tell us ur experience and dificulty of this unit and tips of how to do about

have only FINISHED up the install for someone that attempted to do it themselves. to be honest, DEI makes amazing products, but sometimes their manual is very vauge and takes a few minutes to sink into your brain. well when i did this, everything was pretty straight forward. Thing is, as all manual safe starter/addons, they require you to enter a reservation mode. the 689m will monitor the brake, ebrake, and door pin. Its sure a nice safety feature, but you will have to enter reservation mode everytime a door is open.
