Equipment:
07 corolla S
PKT2 bypass kit
Commando EZ 2500
trunk popper from commando

Using the wiring diagrams I found on this website(thanks they have been a real help) I have installed the EZ 2500 module. The doors lock and unlock fine, the horn and parking-lights beep and flash, the trunk pops good.

The car will not remote start. It will not do anything, I do not hear the EZ module relays click, I do not get any voltage output on the starter or ignition wires. I have checked that all the necessary wires are powered and grounded properly. Tomorrow I will step through all of the programing again, and if that doesn't work I guess I'll call commando (although I don't like their tech support).

This is the first RS I have installed, but I am a electronics technician at my day job, so I know what I'm doing. If there is any help someone can give me I would appreciate it.

Sorry for being long-winded, just trying to get all my info out there.

It has been a while since I have installed one of those, and I don't have the manual but I thought you needed to program the unit to be able to remote start. Look at the programming features and there should be one level that enables remote starting.

Did the unit program the tach properly ? Make sure that the fuses are good on both side of the RED wires and also make sure that there's no cold solder points.

Thanks for the quick and informative replys. It was the tach programing, I had to go through it a few times. Their instructions are a little vague but I got it all working and its great!

Thanks for all the help, I'm sure I will be back on these forums anytime I need information. Kudos to the12volt.com!!!!
