Has anyone hooked up the high idle feature that is available on the6.7l diesel? From what I understand, you hit the cruise a couple times and the motor idles up to about 1000rpm. I have a couple customers that would like to do this.

Saskpuller,

I had it enabled on my 05 Ram 5.9. The dealer plugged in and enabled it in a couple key strokes.  While in park I turn on the cruze and hit set.  I can adjust the RPMs by using the increase/decrease speed buttons.

I;m not sure if this is the samr as yours, but I hope this helps.

Sure, the new trucks come with this enabled. I want to do this from the remote.

Its a bussed message from the steering column to the engine controller, I dont think that you will be able to reproduce that with an aftermarket remote system

all new cars are data controlled. NO data interface module outhere would be able to do this.
