They claim 9,000 ft "rang" i think they mean range?
Also the vendor claims it has reservation mode for manual tranny, but I wonder if it only checks for the handbrake which would be weak.
ebay links dont work on the forum. As for that 9000ft alarm, i have seen those on craigslist and kijiji (toronto) since they claim alot, i decided to pick one up for 140 flat to test it with my compustar P2W900FM . there are many names to this item. eg. Stealth, Huatai, Carvox, PLC, Magic,XLS. they are all the same just diff body.
the one i picked up was XLS. link below, check it

both were wired into my sister 1995 Honda Accord V6.
they both work really well. Features same and all that jazz. as for features it says "has most function on the market" = BS. same as most units.
compustar - 6000ft
XLS - 9000ft
RANGE - 9000ft BS, but pretty good. it kept up pretty good with my compustar, but im sorry to say the compustar pro RAPED the 9000ft.I parked @ the end of the walmart lot, walked to the back of the store and both units worked fine. So i decided to step it up. walked to the canadian tire down the plaza. pretty far, good 5 min walk. once i got inside the store and went 3/4 to the back of the store, did a query on the car. Compustar confirms and so does the XLS. walked to the FAR BACK, query again, compustar still good and XLS is out of the game. To be honest, its a good unit no lies, but the boast 9000ft is just being ridiculous. even the oldest alarm manufacture DEI also compustar only got 6000ft and its true. 9000ft technology from china is just pushing it. Not talkin smack to anyone. this is just my 2 cents. but paying 200 for a 2way is sure a price you wont get easily. it is reliabe and featues close to the compustar.
That looks like the same unit. I figured the range claim was a sham. THe one I found on e-bay is only 99$, I almost feel like it's worth a try just for the price and what features you get.
Thanks for the info.
One more question though, have you actually used the remote starter functionality of it? Does it provide an actual reservation mode comparable to compustar?
Thanks.
dont get me wrong, the range is really good for a 99 dollar unit. you will like this unit if its your first 2way pager. for 99 you cant go wrong with buyin this unit. it has features just like the compustar. and compustar featues are off the charts.
i have remote started it for sure. the tach does actaully work. its not some bogus tach like some china generic units...
my sister cant drive stick, so the car is auto. I had it wired for auto transmission, no reservation mode needed. only on manual will it be required. I no longer have this unit. i got it for 140, sold it for 200. im sure it would be the same sequence as most starters.
while car running, pull ebrake, release brake, press start on remote, remove key and car stays running, open door, close door and car turns off. arm and then u can remote start. thing is its annoying becuase if u forget stuff, the reservation is canceled when a door is opende or key in ignition.
