Does anyone know a trick on how to program the BOA 265B?
I have tried several times holding the remote from different distances and positions, but the Brain does not seem to be learning the remote code. I even called the BOA support, but that was not too much help. I was wondering if anyone had the same experience programing this unit. Thanks.

I fought with one of them for HOURS! I found that between 6 and 8' seemed to be the 'magical' distance for the remotes to program. I also found through troubleshooting that just because the LED lights up it does not indicate a fully working battery in the remote.

Thank you. I will replace the remote battery and give it a try again. Do you think the remote should be in direct sight of the brain? or objects like seats between them are OK? The instruction says to hold the Program button after the parking lights flash and that is usually 5 seconds after you turn on the ignition. Some say that I should do it as soon as I turn on the ignition. What do you think? I really appreciate your help on this.

I used the vehicle's battery to disconnect/reconnect power to the unit to make it easier than removing/reinserting each fuse. Keep in mind you will lose your radio presets and in some vehicles you will need to enter the radio code after reconnecting the battery. To be completely honest, I do not recall if I waited for the light flash or not, what I do remember is that after installing that BOA I no longer install BOA systems.

when I first installed mine I had to call support tech who stated as soon as I turn the key on to hold the program button down right away and keep it held down for almost a minute.  It worked after I did that, but since then it has quite. hence why I am on line, I am going to try and put a new battery in the remote. but at this time It won't do anything with the remote.
