ok, so i guess the title is very self explainatory.
i did an alarm DIY on a 1995 buick regal, everything works perfect the12volt.com information whas very very usefull from the wireing diagrasm to the polarity change for the door locks but, im wondering few things.
first when i take the alarm of and the locks go up to get in the car, i get in and start it. but the alarm is set from factry to auto set...15 secs. later, so i start the car and when im driving the alarm sets' making it go off when my sistem's bass kiks.. :errr:
so qhuestion is.. is it the ignition wire on my alarm thats in the rong place or do i just set the alarm to manual arm and thats that... also do the alarm wires for door entry go to the dome (courtesy) lights so when someone trys to open the door and the dome(courtesy) lights turn on sets off the alarm.....
this is my first alarm DIY.. so i know i made a mistake somewhere... lol just hoping not to have made to many... allso, i will later post the whirte up and hopefully some pic for the alarm install and also for the soud sistem (stereo, amps, speakers, trim removal for wireing) if anyone might need it...
remember its for a 1995 buick regal...
thanks in advanced. any comment will help..

good one kelly.
well no worries, your not the only teen on the forum. im probably the youngest =(. anways if your unit was on PASSIVE ARM, the unit would not arm itself when you have opened or placed a key into the ignition. try setting it to MANUAL ARM and see how it goes. GM door pins are usaully postive (some neg) but the biggest PITA is to wire up diodes on each individual door trigger. I have used the domelight as my door trigger before and it works without any problems.
ummm, gm on a 95 buick is negative pin, which you can get from the light under the dash. you should hook up the ign wire for the alarm to work properly.
wiring the ignition wire will allow the unit to see the key when u place it in, also you will need the ignition wire hooked up in order to enter programming mode.
