Hello, I am thinking about installing a window rollup module with my remote start alarm.  Do these modules roll the windows up each time you arm the alarm, or is there usually a separate button that you press to activate this feature.  i am curious, as there might be times i dont want the windows to rollup but still want to activate the alarm.

thanks

Depending on your alarm system and window module, yes.

If your alarm has a ground when armed output, your windows will always roll up when you arm your alarm. Of course, with an auxiliary channel, you should be able to vent the windows after you've armed your system.

What system do you have, and which window module do you intend on purchasing?

I'm not familiar with that system. Do you have any auxiliary channels free on it, which you can control via the remote control?

I don't know if you already have one-touch windows, but the Directed 530T window system adds one-touch functionality, together with a ground when armed and window venting function.

It does have an auxillary channel.

I only have 1 touch with the driverside front window.  Will this module add 1 touch to the pressing of the switches(like when you driving) or just the activation by the alarm.
