I have a couple NIssan Frontiers (06 & 07)coming in this week and want to make sure that I have the right bypass kits for them. What have you been using on these trucks? I would like to use Bypasskit, Fortin or idatalink. Also for programming, do I require 1 or 2 keys?

XK07 from bypasskit.com. This piece requires only one key to program to the vehicle. I am pretty sure the other data bypass mods only need one as well. If you click the link you can grab the installation manual from their site to familiarize yourself with the piece prior to purchasing it.

Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

I was looking at using a CAN-SL2 but maybe that seems to be a little overkill.

XK07, or CAN-SL2. I forget which one's cheaper, but both work well, and install in the same way.

Just one key to program.

You can also get constant, ignition, ground, high and low data all at the underdash OBDII plug if that's a little easier for you, but you still have to go to the BCM to get the LED interrupt wire.

If you use iDatalink then you have to use the ADS-ALCA module and program it for CANBUS version. Works like a charm, but just more expensive. It does tach, hood, door triggers, lock, & immobilizer bypass.
