Hello, I'm thinking to use KEY OVERRIDE-SL2 to bypass the immobilizer. I just want to ask where to connect the BLUE & GREEN wires coming from the SL2 unit.

If I'm not mistaken there's a 2 pin white plug under steering column and the blue wire is key sense. So I'm thinking green wire from SL2 unit should be connected to blue from 2 pin plug.

Thanks!

Do you not have the instructions for the module ? BLUE goes the GOWR and the GREEN goes to the key sense wire at the ignition switch.

I also want to ask what most people used to bypass the immobilizer (especially in this particular car). I think 556U is better and easier to install due to programming is not required.

The Fortin Keyoverride is what we use. It retains the security integrity of the OEM immobilizer and you don't have to loose a key to the system. Also, if the key freezes up, you don't have remote start.

I use the XK05 from xpresskit.  Grab the IMO/IMI wires right above the gas pedal.  its not affected by cold weather like a key wrap or key box

That makes a lot os sense Jeff. Then I'm decided to use Fortin Key Override.

Thanks for the responses!

keyoveride works on ford and toyotas

so it reduces the amount of bypasses you need to stock
