Does anybody know how to reset the passlock 2 . car wont turn over.

turn the key to run....leave it for about 10 min.

Why did it all of a sudden quit working? Are you attempting a remote start?

You might want to give a little more info here.

yes trying to install remote, was checking the resistence value to bypass and started the car by mistake. 2006 saturn Ion. passlock 2 next generaton.

your suppose to start then cut and measure the resistance

RESET

turn key to run

open driver door and leave it open

come back in 10 min and the light will be gone, try to start with key, if it doesn towrk, leave it for another 10.

i ve noticed that when key turns to start position all lights shut off it wont even crank.
when key turns to start position security light comes for a while then goes

thanks aal the guys in this forum
finaally find the problem 2 amp fuse [ign fuse]was blown in fuse box located drivers side panel
changed fuse it starts rightway
