I have a 1994 toyota sprinter(corolla) marino(japanese model) and after about a hour wid a dmm testin for the door trigger i figure out that the negitive trigger for all doors runs to a door open warning light in dash so i tap off that and the alarm still dont go off. I even then check the trigger wire of the alarm by touching a earth wire on the alarm door trigger and it went off but it wont go off with the car's door triggers , The triggers seem to be ok but when i check the voltage between a constant power wire and the door triggers i only read like 10.75 volts which mean the trigger signal aint that stong what cud i do about this anyone??

Go to the dome light. You should find what you want up the "A" pillar.

There should be a RED / white (NEG)- on the fuse box.

Assuming its a r/hand drive car go to right hand kick panel, look at a connector mounted low down that picks up some of the floor loom coming from rear, its RED / white with silver dots. If you have a trunk open warning on the insrument panel that's separate, it will be adjacent.

PS I've done late model MR2 by going to the instrument panel with no problems.
