Ok guys, I've read thru and search this over and over again and I just want to make sure I'm doing this correctly.

I'm installing a Clifford Matrix 50.5x alarm with remote start in a Nissan Titan 2005.

So, using the wire diagrams from this site, I've got the color of the wires I need from the ignition. The question I'm having is with the 2 starter wires.

From the remote start relay on the alarm, I have a PURPLE starter output wire that goes to the starter side of starter wire and a GREEN starter input wire that goes to the key side of the starter wire.

So, that's easy enough, I just cut the BROWN wire to the ignition, and PURPLE goes to the starter side of this wire and GREEN goes to the key side of this wire.

Now, what do I do about the second starter wire (the LIGHT GREEN from the ignition)? I figure I had two solutions:

Solution 1: Just connect the PURPLE, LIGHT GREEN and starter side of the BROWN wire all together.

Solution 2: Cut the LIGHT GREEN second starter wire and connect just like the first starter wire. LT GREEN key side, BROWN key side and GREEN together and then LT GREEN starter side, BROWN starter side and PURPLE together.

Help on which is the correct way??

Thanks

Ok, so looking at that schematic, clarify that I have this right.

First off, the primary starter wire is cut, for the starter kill built into the starter relay of my alarm. From the alarm, I have a PURPLE starter output wire that goes to the starter side of the primary starter wire and a GREEN starter input wire that goes to the key side of the primary starter wire.

So, to add in the second starter wire, the PURPLE wire goes to both the starter side of the primary starter wire and also to 85 on the relay. 12V constant to 87. 30 taps into an uncut second starter wire. And 86 goes to chasis ground.

Is that correct?

You have that absolutely correct;

Basically your 1st starter wire (starter side) triggers the relays solenoid to conduct current from terminal 87 to terminal 30 (and terminal 30 powers your 2nd starter wire).

Best of luck
