Hey all, I need to know which bypass module would work best for an 06 Dodge ram 1500. I would like the bypass to do the (-) 2nd start and acc. Basically, I need a module that will do everything for me and know that that module will work. This is the first 06 ram i'm doing and I would like to simplify everything as much as possible. thanks

Check out Idatalink modules. Used a couple of them with good results. Should take care of the mux starting system.

so if there is no bypass to do the (-) part for me. How do I measure the mux wire for the correct ohms for the (-) start and acc? Do I ground one of my dmm leads and probe the mux wire with the other and check for ohms. Or do I have to cut the mux wire and place a dmm lead on each end and measuure the ohms when starting and with the acc on? Any help would be really appreciated.

There are plenty of bypasses that give you the mux output to the PURPLE / brown wire. Here is the one I normally use: link. ------------- Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Check out www.idatalink.ca they have a bypass that will take care of everything including locks, factory alarm, tach and immobilizer bypass. I'm pretty sure the bypass is the ads-al ca and the ads-rng c2.
