I have a chevy pickup with a carbine plus 3000 which I bought back in 1997. No paper work for alarm. My wife lost the remote and I had to disconnect battery. How do I disarm alarm without the remote?

Not familiar with that particular alarm but all the carbines we installed several years ago, either of the following will disarm them.

Unplug the brain or look for the valet switch. It will be a pushbutton switch. When you find it turn the key to the on position and press the switch.
