Did an install on a 2008 highlander and the problem were having is if you remote start the vehicle and then "remote Stop" the vehicle the headlights won't turn off. They will run the battery dead. We tried sending a positive pulse after runtime to the ignition to see if that would shut the headlights off.

Astro"chart" says to pulse the doorpin but the picture they have is wrong. so we tried finding a doorpin to pulse and still had some issue's finding the right connector from the doorboot. Anyone have a better idea or an easy fix?

The customer does not want to disable the "autolight feature" on the steering column.

Astro says "open" the autolight wire @ the headlight switch. You can trigger with a pulse after, OR ground while running.

Headlight is red, autolight is green (this is the one you want)

The driver door trigger is probably at the pin switch near the rear door sill of the vehicle, so you aren't going to find the wire coming in from the driver door itself..
